Infant Childcare & Early Education Programs
We have a spacious room for babies. At Academy for Kids Preschool, our babies receive all the love and attention they need to be healthy and happy.
Teachers work with each child in a series of stimulating activities that incorporate the natural routines of eating and playing. The teacher reinforces the development of babies without interrupting their daily schedule.
Infant Childcare & Early Education Programs
Our exclusive infant curriculum, is designed around the 5 standards of brain development, and ensures your baby progresses toward these important developmental goals:
- Critical thinking
- Language
- Movement
- Relationships
- Sensory
We’ve created 1000s of play-based activities based on these 5 components of brain development. Each activity is designed for a specific learning purpose.
-
- Each week your primary caregiver will create an individualized lesson plan for your baby.
- The lesson plan is unique to your child, with at least 6 activities geared towards your child’s interests and development goals.
- A new lesson plan is created weekly, though some activities may be repeated.
- The lesson plan is posted in the nursery, so you can always review your baby’s weekly plan.
Baby Sign Language
In our early care and education program, your baby will begin to learn and use simple signs. Baby sign language teaches your child how to express his or her needs and communicate emotions and desires through simple signs and gestures before developing the ability to speak. Ask your teacher about these signs so you can communicate with your baby at home in the same way!
